Over the weekend, we went to the soft opening of Kozy in Libertyville.

A great pre-fixe menu with soy-glazed pork, Korean fried chicken, kimbap, and banchan.

A wonderful dinner featuring a DRY-AGED BEEF BURGER with pimento cheese, charred onion aioli, butter lettuce, tomato, onion, and fries. I always look forward to a small bottle of Heinz.

For dessert, BUTTERMILK PIE, “THE LAST PIECE,” with bourbon caramel, buttermilk ice cream, and smoked salt. Very rich. Very decadent. Very delicious.

San Antonio has quite the food scene. I really enjoyed the shrimp and grits here.
