When The Chloe reached out and asked me to help bring their bridal booth to life for the Louisiana Wedding Expo, I jumped at the opportunity! They wanted a booth that would stand out from the rest. Something that would pull people in and instantly feel warm, inviting, and different. Cozy, vintage, moody vibes… and I can say with 100% certainty, that was the WHOLE vibe.

I’m not saying they had the best booth at the expo… okay, actually, I am saying that. Maybe I’m a little partial 💅🏼🤪

Did you know that for much of my teen years, I hosted a live, call-in talk show called "Straight Talk for Teens?"

The show was mainly sponsored and produced by my mom-- Evangelist Johnson (now Pastor Pollie). The panel was made up of my sisters, youth group members and a rotaing circle of friends hanging out every Saturday on Christian radio.

If I recall correctly, we were on two different radio stations in Baton Rouge, a gospel station later owned by Bishop Dwight Pate and a contemporary Christian music station on Son Life Radio.

We had so much fun choosing topics, creating questions, interviewing special guests and trying to get kids to call in with a question or comment.

Nothing lit up the phone lines like relationship chatter!

We may be a little late on posting but we haven’t forgotten about our Christmas give back that we do every year to benefit the families of CapitalAreaFamilyJusticeCenter! Every year we donate $10 of every invoice we send from August 1st-November 30th to adopt families at Christmas! With all the money we put aside, we adopt as many families as we can and buy their Christmas wish list. Sometimes we even have enough to buy them Christmas trees. Giving back is so important to us and this is truly one of our favorite ways we do it! We wouldn’t be able to do this without all our amazing clients who book with us, so thank y’all!! 🎄♥️
