Acting friends!
I received this request from a local filmmaker. I am not affiliated with this effort, but I told them I would pass the request along to local actors.
My name is Quinn Collins, and I am a Maine-based filmmaker. I am reaching out to you with an urgent request. We are currently in the middle of shooting a film in Brunswick, with roughly 80% of principal photography already completed.
Unfortunately, due to a sudden and unexpected casting emergency, we have lost the actor playing a pivotal role.

I also received some additional information about this:
This is a challenging role as far as length. It's 22 pages.
So, I am increasing the offer to $200 per day for 2 days of shooting, plus a $100 a day for four rehearsals (total $800).
This whole film is more like a dialogue-driven filmed play, but, remember, it's a movie, so we have cuts and we shoot the film in chunks.
