Yes, I have flowers! Please contact me for U-Cut options or arrangements!!!
I have been pretty silent on my page this year. If you read below, it’s a post from my personal page and you’ll know what I’ve been up to this summer.
PERSONAL PAGE POST:
This bright bloom was the first bloom cut from the gardens this year. It was chosen tonight as a symbol of the love, brightness, and beauty my dad brought to us. It represents life and hope, because after a late spring and then losing my dad June 3rd, I didn’t think I would get any of my flowers in the ground. In addition, many of my seedlings took it pretty hard while we were in the hospital and focused on the funeral. With all that was going on in ours lives, I decided to just forget about planting this year…..until my nieces said that they wanted to come to the farm when the flowers are blooming and make arrangements for grandpa. After I heard them say this, I knew the flowers were going in the ground…..somehow, someway. I didn’t know what kind of harvest we’d get considering that I didn’t get anything planted until late June, but I had to try. The following weeks were a labor of love to honor my dad and a way to support my nieces. As the blooms started this year, I would look and admire the strength and tenacity of those flowers to bloom amongst all the adversity of a late planting and drought conditions. In my admiration, I just couldn’t bring myself to cut any of them….not until we were all together and we could decide together which bloom to cut first in honor of dad. Tonight was the night. It was filled with stories, memories, laughter, and tears. It was hard and it was healing. And more than anything else….it was LOVE.
