Ahoy mates!! Captain Longhook here, with an organizational announcement!! (Albeit slightly overdue)
Unfortunately, there has been a touch of confusion I'd like to take a moment to clear up. About a year ago, i stepped down from an officerial role within a larger organization of pirates. And it is a group that is still very close to me.
I made a miscalculation in naming my independent crew a little too similar to their ranks. It has caused some confusion regarding my position, and my crews connection to this larger organization. Now the name New York Guncrew held a lot of weight for me, and had a bit of sentimental attachment. But its not fair to my crew to stand on the accolades of the past. So, after much deliberation and consideration, we are under going a bit of a mid-season rebranding.
So, In an effort to stand firmly upon our own sea legs, and be fully and unmistakably independent, I'd like to formally introduce the new name of my same crew of lovable miscreants...
We are henceforth, the St. Lawrence Privateers !!!
