Week 8 of the 2026 Summer BBQ Tour was a busy one with multiple stops for a staff appreciation whole hog roast bbq in Danbury and a fun, family Fourth of July bbq banger in Naugatuck. The staff at AB Electronics enjoyed a juicy and crispy 75 lb. whole hog with a bunch of delicious sides, while we had several Union Pig classics like USDA PRIME Brisket and Belk & Evans thighs & drums for America's 250th July 4th celebration in Naugatuck. We cannot thank both AB Electronics and the Marquette family for the opportunity to smoke some top notch Q for you and your friends!!

Week 5 on the 2026 Summer BBQ Tour is in the books and it was a busy one. Three stops on Hartford, Prospect, and Middlebury with the honor to serve some of our finest Q to my teacher colleagues and friends on the lake! Big shout out and thanks to the Connecticut Education Association, Prospect Teachers and the Lake Quassapaug Association for their invite and opportunity! A long weekend indeed for Union Pig BBQ , but now it is time to restock, refuel and reignite the smoker for this weekend! See y'all out there on the road!

Week 4 of the is in the books with multiple stops at a wedding in Watertown and neighborhood association gathering on beautiful Lake Quassapaug in Middlebury. We were able to serve some delicious Q to a bunch of awesome guests along with having a blast working with our friends . Thanks to our clients Steve, Tracey and Garrett for the opportunity to serve your guests! No rest for the weary as we are firing up the smoker again for multiple stops this weekend. First 2 weeks of the 2026 Union Pig Summer BBQ Tour have not disappointed. Weather could have been nicer, but that did not stop the U.P. Pitcrew from producing some of the finest Q around for our friends in both Woodbridge and Cheshire. On the menus were some USDA PRIME Brisket, Slow Smoked Duroc Pulled Pork Shoulder, St. Louis Spareribs, Bell & Evans Thighs & Lollipop Drums, along with our sides of Coleslaw, Mac & Cheese, and our Cornbread w Honey Butter. Congrats to the golf winners in Cheshire and to Nico for his graduation from Quinnipiac! The is well on its way and we cannot wait to see you all out there on the road!
