After losing my job, I couldn’t help but wonder if it meant I wasn’t good enough, like I wasn’t talented or entertaining enough to belong on a morning show.

This morning I learned that the show I poured everything into and at one point ran solo was in the running for a Colorado Broadcasters Association Awards of Excellence and received a Certificate of Merit over the weekend.

It is a quiet but powerful reminder that what I contributed mattered. It was seen, it was valued, and it was worthy of recognition.

I am truly honored to have been part of work that stood for something.

This is not the last you’ve seen of me, Colorado!

I had no idea you could do this so close to Colorado 🦬🐎 Spent the day at Terry Bison Ranch feeding bison and horseback riding and it ended up being such a fun, easy day trip.
