An Open House Gathering in Honor of Tonja’s Next Chapter. She’s on to new adventures. 🧗🏼‍♀️🪂⛰️🏕️

Join us as we gather to celebrate Tonja and the meaningful moments we've shared along the way. She’s embarking on an exciting new chapter, and we’d be honored to have you with us as we reflect on the journey so far—and look ahead to all that awaits.

Today, the Wasilla Police Department pauses to remember the heroes who have paid the ultimate price in service to our communities. Their sacrifice, bravery, and unwavering commitment to protect us will never be forgotten. We honor their memory and stand in solidarity with their families, colleagues, and all who mourn their loss. Their legacy of courage continues to inspire our dedication to duty.

Happy Mothers Day from all of us at Fleurish!
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for entrusting us with all your Moms’ special day flowers!

This Mothers Day was special for me because it was MY (Stephanie the new owner will carry the flower torch on) last one with Fleurish. The last 6 years as owner has been nothing short of an amazing time in my life. A sanctuary of love, peace, healing my heart, beautiful friendships, new connections and a lifetime of stories shared between these walls.
You are only as good as the people who support you, lift you up, have your back and love your projects as their own. And boy have I had that! To have people who work with you that love Fleurish as their own, treat each arrangement as it was going to their loved one, pour all their creativity into each project… how lucky am I? I am beyond blessed and grateful for my time with them, and forever in their debt.
Thank you to my incredible team, past and present, I’m humbled by you all and will miss you immensely. ❤️

How I Fleurish

I got started in the floral industry when I was 20 and a bagger at Carrs grocery store in downtown Anchorage, AK. As most baggers, it is not their dream to stay in that position and I definately did not want that, there was a sign in the back room advertising for floral help, Now mind you all we had at this little store was display cooler in the produce section and some green plants. Easter was coming up and when I asked my store manager about the floral position he said “well can you make bows?” Um sure.... I said, “great! make me a couple and bring them in to me tommorrow!” OK I said, I mean how hard could it be? I spent the entire night trying to create the perfect bow (this was before youtube). I managed to get a couple interesting ones done, so I brought those in to show him and to my surprise he said Wow! those are great! Can you make me 60? They were for all the Easter lilys to decorate for the store.

Long story short, I love a challenge, I will try my hardest to create exactly what you want and if you dont know what you want at the beginning of our conversation, you will by the end. I seriously love what I do and believe that its not just the flowers that bring us joy, Its the relationships behind the flowers. I “Fleurish” when I have a happy bride, and can carry on the relationship we built in creating her perfect day. Many a bride are still friends and clients to this day and I am honored to have been a small part in their special day.

And if you need a bow, I’m your girl.
