Wanted to do a quick intro post for our newest followers. We are the family behind The Little Lakehouse @ Lake Lucille and Stillwater Cottages. We had a vision for this property as soon as we saw it (well, mostly Colleen did!)

She made us look past the neglected house and the overgrown property. Thankfully, we saw it too.

She convinced us that “if we build it, they will come.” And she was right!

We are grateful to every family celebrating babies, graduates and brides and every business hosting board meetings and team building in The Little Lakehouse.

We treasure the stories of guests who stay at Stillwater Cottages - locals looking for a weekend getaway, traveling for sports tournaments, and wedding guests and visitors from the lower 48.

It means the world to us that you appreciate the work we put into creating a space for you to relax, celebrate and get things done.

The Little Lakehouse @ Lake Lucille is designed for small gatherings with a peaceful lakeside feel. Our indoor space seats up to 24 guests and can accommodate up to 30 guests, depending on your event setup.

What events are a great fit?

The Lakehouse is especially well suited for small celebrations and professional gatherings, including:

At Live Local AK, we are all about shopping local. When we needed t-shirts with our business logo, we knew just where to go. We reached out to this group of Wasilla High School students and love what they created for us!

These students have earned their place at SkillsUSA Nationals in Atlanta, where they will have the chance to showcase their technical skills, connect with industry professionals, and represent Alaska on a national stage.

Now they need a little community support to help get them there.

Funds raised will help cover flights from Alaska to Atlanta, hotel stays, and registration fees for the students. Every donation, big or small, helps give these hardworking students the chance to shine.

Let’s cheer them on and help send Wasilla High School to Nationals.
