I’ve had a lot of thoughts lately about wedding days. The most cliche but true thought is about how FAST they go! I think it’s because so much thought goes into this one singular day so it seems that somehow normal space-time should not apply to this day 😊 Because of the brevity of hours - I can only offer this advice...Be there. Be all there. Focus on what matters and ditch thoughts about what doesn’t. Spend more time with your spouse on your wedding day! Sometimes it feels like half the day it spent just sitting and getting hair and makeup done or sitting and waiting for the day to start officially and then BOOM it’s go time and you barely have a moment to breathe...this can definitely be a relaxing time but maybe it should be less time? I’m not sure what the real answer to this is, but I just can’t stress enough to enjoy your day. Throw out the spread sheets (or rather give them to a planning minded friend!) and just take it all in. Hug grandma, laugh with your hubby, eat all the good food, play the yard games and make the s’mores. Let your mama fuss over family pictures and your train and maybe give her a kiss and tell her to enjoy the day too. Mamas forget this sometime. Tell her you love her. Get your dress dirty and wear your hair how you want, regardless of season. Again I say, eat all the food. 😆Just love every minute for what it is. 💕🧡
