DAHLIAS! The first cuts

I overwintered our dahlias in this patch, and instead of using plastic tarps to keep weeds at bay, or using tons of mulch, I decided to sow several successions of wildflower seeds and transplanted several different perennials we already have around the farm. This will work two fold.....to help keep the weeds and grasses away, and to help feed the soil. Win win!
