As we continue to tiptoe into engagement season... Calling all newly engaged and "tenured engaged" couples. 😉... Come in close...

If you don't remember anything else, Remember this...

#1 What's most important? A Wedding or a Marriage?

#2 Make sure the person holding the "purse" has you in mind! Financial expectations, duties and responsibilities must be discussed, agreed upon and clearly understood. Too many chiefs and not enough $ paying $ indians can cause a disaster. Have money talks EARLY.

#3 Be upfront about costs. If you're not fronting your Wedding Party's expenses, inform them of their financial obligation and don't take it personal if they're unable to commit.

#4 This is not the time for the "I don't knows!" Hire a planner, stand firm on your decisions and move forward. Being extremely undecisive causes major stress and anxiety during your planning process. No need to revisit something 200 times baby, let's keep it moving.

#5 If family or potential Bridesmaid/Groomsmen is causing discord, pay attention the 1st time and love them from a far. We don't like to have those hard conversations, I know... but keep in mind, bad energy moves quickly.
Before you know it, arguments start, fights break out and you're making unwarranted accommodations for people you don't know.
