As an LA-based graduate of Icon Collective, Sircasm has shaped a signature sound by drawing inspiration from the dark and edgy tones of Drum & Bass Sound design, and faster house tempos. In 2021, Sircasm began hosting and

producing "The Opening Slot Show," an EDM news show that aired on a weekly basis focusing on dance music news from Washington D.C. This show provided a platform for sharing the latest trends and news within the electronic music community, allowing Sircasm to connect with his audience on a deeper level and contribute to the growth of the EDM scene. Sircasm's electrifying performances and seamless fusion of multi-genre elements have garnered local national recognition. In 2019, he was honored to be nominated as one of Baltimore's top EDM acts, and the more recent signing of his single “Bringin’ it Back” was by Phunk Junk Records, further solidifying his presence in the industry. With a commitment to pushing boundaries and captivating audiences, Sircasm continues to make his mark in the electronic music landscape, staying true to the belief that "Life in Music Has No Boundaries.”

Someone put a lei on me mid-set and I accidentally killed the music with my headphones. Full stop. Silent room. Everyone staring.
Recovery time? About 3 seconds. But those 3 seconds felt like 3 hours.😅🤷‍♂️

Barney x Petey Pablo mashup. Freak a Leek at a kids birthday party 😎😂. The parents asked for 2000s hip hop alongside the kid stuff, so I gave them both. At the same time.

FYI - the dj booth was located away from the pool, and “Happy Birthday” just got sang.

First time speaking Korean on a mic in a public setting. Not gonna lie, I was nervous and I know it wasn’t perfect. 😬
Gotta start somewhere🤷‍♂️

But this couple was Korean-American, and I wanted their families to feel seen from the very first word. So I opened the reception in both Korean and English. When I saw the reaction from the Korean side of the room, every hour I spent practicing was worth it.

My wife is Korean. This one was personal.

Getting the energy right before the couple walks in is an art. Hyping the crowd, building anticipation, and making sure every single guest is locked in and ready for that moment.

They told me they loved EDM. They also asked for hip hop. So I gave them both.

But when the hip hop tracks hit and the energy started dipping, I knew what had to be done. Pivoted quick, shifted the BPMs up, and went full EDM. The floor came back to life and never died again.

Your DJ should be watching you, not their laptop.
