Werrrreeeee back! After a social media hiatus we are ready to get back to posting what we have been up to and the beautiful weddings that we have done! It was a much needed break to refresh and recharge for an exciting 2023! We can't wait to meet all the newly engaged couples and help their dream wedding day come true. Leaving time for detail photos is so important to building into the day of timeline. I'm sure photographers would love even more time for details but we schedule 30 minutes prior to the bride or groom getting dressed to capture the little details that are unique to each couple.

The floral industry continues to be impacted by COVID and this week has been one of the most challenging to source flowers. After placing orders weeks ahead of time the suppliers are left helpless due to shortages at the farm level, which is very unpredictable. After having to throw away so many flowers last year the farms were hesitant to grow this year leaving the supply very limited and resulting in higher prices. We feel thankful for each and every stem we were able to source from over 5 different floral suppliers this week. It takes a village, thank you 🙏 Photography: Venue:

Say hello to one of our coordinators Christina! Christina graduated from JMU (go dukes!) in 2015 with a health sciences degree but a passion for planning events. She ultimately fell in love with it while she was planning her own wedding, which brought her to Diamond Events! When Christina isn’t planning, she enjoys doing just about anything outdoors with her husband and black lab, Sadie. Hiking, camping, boating; you name it and she’s there!
