Building community in a city as busy as DC isn’t something that happens by accident—it has to be intentional.

As adults, making new friendships can feel more complicated than it should. Busy schedules, unfamiliar spaces, and not knowing where to start often keep people from finding the connections they’re looking for.

That’s why we created the FriendsAlike Social Walk.

Every Tuesday, we make community as convenient as possible. We bring together wellness, conversation, and genuine people in an environment where showing up is the only thing you have to worry about.

From guided talking points that make introductions easier, to Pilates ( Camille 🇸🇱 ) that gets everyone moving, to a 5,000-step walk through one of the best views in DC, every part of the experience is designed to help strangers become friends.

The real magic isn’t just in the steps we take—it’s in the conversations that continue long after the walk is over, the friendships that grow from a simple hello, and the community we’re building together week after week.

This is bigger than a walk.

It’s a healthier way to meet people.
A more intentional way to build community.
