J Street Group, LLC was thrilled and honored to support the planning and ex*****on of the 2025 Kharon Summit, held on November 5, 2025 at the beautiful Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium. We are especially grateful to Ridgewells Catering for their partnership throughout the planning process and for helping create an exceptional experience for all attendees.

A special thank you to our other incredible vendors who transformed the venue into a true masterpiece — Showtech, Extraordinary Entertainment, AFR Furniture Rental, and 4Wall Entertainment. It was a privilege to be part of such an impactful event!

Planners & Caterers: Your Event Food Can Feed Our Community Today 💛

Right now, neighbors and clients across the DMV are facing real food insecurity — and the leftover food from your events can make an immediate difference.

We all know how much food moves through our events every week. This is our industry’s chance to act.

📌 The Situation:
1.4M federal workers in DC, MD, VA have missed paychecks.
1.6M neighbors rely on SNAP benefits and the safety net is stretched thinner every day.

These are our neighbors, clients, colleagues - our community. Even if government services resume tomorrow, help is needed today.

📌 How You Can Help Right Now:
• Put leftover food to use – from hotel events, conferences, or meetings, donate extra prepackaged food to local kitchens and pantries.
• If you aren’t meeting your F&B minimum, use it to donate: order extra cereals, bagged snacks, granola, yogurt, or meals packaged to go.
• For catered events, contact and they’ll guide you, pick up donations directly, and get food to families the same day.
• Label everything clearly – coordinate with your caterer for safe and speedy distribution.
• Spread the word – encourage your partners, planners, and clients to do the same. Share this post to multiply impact!

Our industry has always valued reusing, repurposing, and donating — now is the time to live that value.
