Talk about a full Lucy Black Entertainment experience! This wedding was set on a beautiful property in Virginia and started with their friend playing violin in the garden at the ceremony, then for cocktail hour we stepped in with our jazz duo in the barn area. The reception was held in a gorgeous tent in the a field and kept the vibes high all night long. We ended the night with an after party curated by one of our DJs in The Vault!

Certainly a day and night to remember!

It truly doesn’t get better than a groom surprising everyone with a performance at his own wedding reception. That’s exactly what happened on K & C’s wedding day.
Following a beautifully choreographed first dance, the groom grabbed a mic and a bass to perform “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” alongside his two friends on guitar and drums!

After that epic introduction to the reception, took over and kept the dance floor packed all night long!

An evening on the water, elevated by incredible food, wine, and music. 🥂🎶

We loved partnering with Sea Table DC and Curated by TPK for this special cruise, bringing the sounds of Lucy Black Entertainment to an intimate private dining experience. Troy offers a chef-sommelier led private dining experiences on land & by sea perfect for engagements, celebrations, or a romantic date night!

What a night!! We love creating something custom for our couples!! To match this multicultural wedding we included an additional singer with a full horn section onto for the reception! In addition to these added musicians for the band we had a DJ-style Bollywood dance set! Talk about epic!

We love making sure our couples are happy but to also get a great review from the Mother of the Bride is the icing on the cake! “Rebecca and her team were beyond amazing. It is two weeks since my daughter’s wedding and the band is still the talk of the town. People danced all night - even people who have never danced at a wedding before. BEST BAND EVER is what everyone is saying - and I agree. The band is fun, engaged and sounds fantastic. Best decision.” 🥂

Eight years ago, we took a leap of faith on a simple belief we already knew to be true: entertainment could be so much more than just music. It could create connection, tell a story, and bring people together in ways that people would remember long after the last song ended.

What started as a dream has grown into something bigger than we ever imagined: a women- and musician-owned company filled with incredibly talented artists, dedicated teammates, and creative partners who share our passion for creating extraordinary experiences.

What started as a dream has grown into something bigger than we ever imagined! A women- and musician-owned company filled with incredibly talented artists, dedicated teammates, and creative partners who share our passion for creating extraordinary experiences. From our home in Washington, D.C. to our growing Midwest branch in St. Louis, we’ve had the privilege of celebrating alongside so many amazing clients and bringing their visions to life.

To every couple, client, planner, venue, musician, production team member, and creative partner who has believed in us over the last eight years, THANK YOU!!!! You have trusted us with life’s biggest moments, supported our vision, and helped shape Lucy Black Entertainment into what it is today. There aren’t many places more beautiful than the rolling countryside of Middleburg, Virginia. We loved creating the soundtrack for this gorgeous wedding day!

The day began with our string quartet performing in a picturesque field near the stables, setting the tone for an elegant ceremony. As guests made their way to the herb garden for cocktail hour, the music transitioned seamlessly to the smooth sounds of our jazz trio, creating a completely new atmosphere without ever missing a beat.

One of our favorite parts of what we do is curating live music that evolves alongside your celebration, giving every chapter of the day its own distinct feel while telling one beautiful love story.
