A late summer garden wedding for N & C at Glenstone Gardens 🌿

With rolling hills, manicured hedges, and a grand tulip poplar framing the ceremony, this setting called for something a little unexpected. Our guitar and saxophone duo brought a warm, soulful sound to the ceremony, then followed guests into the garden for a breezy, upbeat cocktail hour. It’s an intimate pairing that fills an outdoor space beautifully without ever overpowering the moment.

 but for a ceremony and cocktail hour, nothing beats a string quartet. đŸŽ»

C & J’s wedding at the U.S. National Arboretum proved our point. The ceremony on the Ellipse Meadow was a beautiful start to the day, and the bride walked down the aisle to Coldplay’s “Yellow.”

Then the party moved to the Herb Garden for cocktails, with two custom arrangements made just for the couple: “Somewhere Out There” and the UCLA fight song. Go Bruins! 💙💛

The highlight of the day was when the mother of the bride joined our quartet on first violin for “Mamma Mia” and “Viva La Vida.” Watching her play for her daughter on her wedding day, surrounded by everyone they love, was a moment none of us will forget. đŸ„č

For their 25th anniversary, the Jones family wanted to create an incredible celebration for their closest friends and family, complete with full production, DJ entertainment, an after-party, and a very special musical performance - their favorite artists, Nashville’s own Drew & Ellie Holcomb!

In addition to bringing the production and entertainment to life, our team was brought in to manage the artists and make sure every detail surrounding their performance was handled from start to finish. From the big production moments to the personal touches, we love being the team behind the scenes that makes a celebration this special come together!

K & B got married at the Baltimore Museum of Art, surrounded by art, candlelight, and harp music echoing through Fox Court.

After the ceremony, that same gallery became a full-blown dance party with our 7-piece band, . By the end of the night everyone was singing along, the dance floor was packed, and nobody wanted to go home.

Our favorite moment was the anniversary dance. Every married couple took the floor, and one by one they stepped off as the years went up... 10... 20... 30... 40... until one couple was left dancing, 45 years strong. The whole room was on its feet for them. đŸ„č

Here’s to K & B, and to 45 more years for you, too. đŸ„‚

When the groom is a composer, you know the music is going to be pretty special! For this celebration, he created custom arrangements for a string quintet (string quartet + bass) for the entire day. The addition of the bass brought such beautiful depth and warmth to the sound, rounding out the quartet in the best way.

Needless to say, we’d love to do more weddings with a string quintet! đŸŽ»
