Here is Ben with our very first transit! We finally had a company van and trust me when I say we all really appreciated it and so did our vehicles - no more dealing with our cars smelling like food or having to transport dirty equipment!

Fun fact - Ben’s brother’s company was one of our first consistent clients as well as some of the people Ben met on the hill back before he decided to pursue his career in the food industry.

The early days weren't the prettiest. Ben was still figuring out many of the logistics, such as recruiting his team (shoutout to for being the OG) and figuring out the kitchen space, which he found at kitchen. They were pretty progressive in that they offered shared kitchen spaces before it became a more popular option so that smaller businesses could have access to a restaurant approved kitchen area and with that B.Lin became an official business!

Ben was gaining more confidence and started to offer themed supper clubs (still in his home) which were a huge hit! His guests kept saying he should consider opening a restaurant or starting a catering company, so he finally decided to take the leap and B.Lin Catering was born!

At this point Ben was still working his full time job but decided to give his culinary love a chance by offering his services as a private chef! At that time it was hard to believe people might actually pay to have him cook for them but they did! And he and his clients both really enjoyed the experience!

Before Ben quit his job he started to experiment with hosting dinner parties for his friends at his house and quickly realized how much fun he had testing out new recipes and enjoying sharing them with his favorite people!
