Two weeks ago we celebrated 4 years of in Coconut Grove — and what started as an anniversary turned into a full‑blown community block party on Grand Ave. 🌴

Hundreds of people from the Grove showed up alongside the Farmers Market and Art Fair weekend to celebrate with music, food, drinks, giveaways, and a lot of neighborhood love.

Most of all, we’re grateful for the hundreds of neighbors, friends, and clients who came out to celebrate with us.

Working with over the past few years has been more than a collaboration — our two businesses have truly become family, and bringing the Grove together like this is exactly what it’s all about.

Snow falling outside. Pasta twirling inside. 🍝❄️

This past Sunday, Designing the District hosted a DMV creators Italian-themed family dinner at in Bethesda Row, and it was the kind of night that reminds you why community (and carbs) matter.

We gathered some of Washington’s most recognizable lifestyle creators around one long table to showcase PLANTA’s dynamic, health-forward, fully plant-based cuisine — and let’s just say… no one missed a thing. From the crispy 1,000-layer potatoes topped with caviar to spicy rigatoni, carbonara, eggplant rollatini, calzones, and multiple pizzas making their rounds, it was indulgent, elevated, and absolutely droolworthy. Finished properly with chocolate cake and cheesecake, of course.

The vibe? Cozy Italian family dinner meets content heaven. Snowstorm outside, wine pouring inside, hands reaching across the table for “just one more bite.”

And we timed it intentionally ahead of Bethesda’s exclusive 🍕 WTF Pizza BOGO running March 4–14.
