Happy to announce Spectrum Events, LLC has won a BPA with the United States Air Force Chaplin Corp in the National Capital Region. Not only that we, won our first contract under this new BPA.

When I tell you God’s got me covered, I’m not playing. I’ve done so many things in this 11 years of business. But this by far is my proudest moment. I had a vision 5 years ago that I didn’t want to just work as government event planner, I wanted to get the contact myself. And God saw fit to set me up for this moment. This last year making the change in business and turning down opportunities was hard. I had to focus on my goal but the constant nos and business funds dwindling was frustrating and I wanted to quit. What do they say? When you want to quit is when you keep going. That’s when God does his best work. I share my testimony to remind you to never give up on God or yourself. His plans are bigger. And I can’t wait to see what’s next. Jeremiah 29:11

2023 was good to me. This is the hardest I’ve ever worked and I am sooo grateful for my wins. I couldn’t have done it without God and my tribe. I want to share my wins not to brag but because I am incredibly grateful and honored to be this woman.

1. Planned my first conference
2. Visited Germany
3. Planned my first block party
4. Supported my best friend as she planned an award show
5. Worked with amazing talent in AV
6. Completed a leadership cohort at work
7. Completed a womens entrepreneurship cohort with Cornell and Bank of America
8. Supported my friend and mentor at her event in New York
9. Supported other events
10. Rocked being a wife and mom
11. Won my first awarded a BPA for my business
12. And wrapped up the year with receiving my PMP certification

It’s only up from here. Happy New Year. May all your dreams come true!

I’m so blessed to work with some wonderful women! We are able to work on some incredible events. From day 1 I have had great friends that supported my business and worked for me FOR FREE. Now I get to employ these young ladies and give them experiences they can build on for a lifetime. Oh and money. God is good!
