I love seeing a full dance floor 💃🏽🕺🏽

One of my favorite ways to get guests on the dance floor is actually to involve them in the planning process! What the heck do I mean by that? 🤔

I mean ask for their opinion! Ask what songs they'd like to hear played at the wedding in your RSVP.

On wedding day, as soon as they hear the song they requested being played, it's almost a guarantee they'll want to get up and go dance to it ⭐

Have you considered including your pet on your wedding day? ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
There can be so much anxiety about involving your pet in some aspects of your wedding day, and if it's not done right, things can go wrong quickly 😬. As a coordinator, I'll always help with the ✨ logistics ✨ of involving your pet, but I'm not a pet babysitter or handler. ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
I often see couples have a family or friend be responsible for the pet, but I don't recommend that route because that person will have to miss out on parts of the wedding to tend to the pet's needs. ​​​​​​​​

My number 1️⃣ piece of advice is to OUTSOURCE pet care on the wedding day! DM me for any recommendations! ​​​​​​​​

Is it tacky to ask people to give money for our honeymoon instead of gifts?

Once upon a time, it was considered tacky. However, it's 2022 and weddings have changed A LOT, so most people no longer consider it tacky.

Here are my top 3 reasons you should consider having a honeymoon fund:

3️⃣ You may already live together and have all the items you need.

2️⃣ The fund doesn't have to be for a honeymoon, you can accept money for whatever you want! Putting a down payment on a new house, paying down debt, starting a family, etc.

1️⃣ Chances are, you'll be able to take an even more amazing vacation than you would if you were paying for it yourselves!

The point here is this: it's your wedding, do what you want to do!

The ugly part of wedding planning...

is realizing all the things we don't have control over. Whether it's rouge bridesmaids, uninvested family members, compounding personal issues, or even a disinterested partner, the challenges can seem insurmountable.

This is a real-life example of something I do when I'm feeling overwhelmed. Instead of dwelling on everything spiraling out of my control, I focus on what I do have control over.

We're often well prepared for all of the fun parts of wedding planning like dress shopping, wedding party proposals, and engagement photos, yet ill-prepared for the emotional overload and mental exhaustion that can easily become overwhelming.

Today, and every day, try to readjust your perspective to focus on the things you can control.
