Locations matter!!

Think of the places that mean something to you. A coffee shop? A local park where you learned to ride a bike or a farm when you grew up exploring old barns? Maybe you want to project yourself into the future, where you live in a big city and want that downtown vibe. Or you imagine lazy days on a beach or in a pool?

Maybe you’re not sure and want to brainstorm some ideas? I’m down for that!

The goal: find a place that tells your story- past, present and future.

Actually, let’s talk and plan a little so you can get the most out of our time together. Plus, we can chat about how to make your pictures unlike anyone else’s. Senior pictures are not just for mom or the yearbook. They’re about this moment and who you are. So tell me about that hobby or sport you’ve been investing so much of your energy into and let’s put it out there for the world to see.

Did you know there are TWO golden hours everyday?

Yup! Senior pictures dont have to be in the evening to get that beautiful soft glow. In fact, I’d argue that mornings are even better and have a longer window.

If you can manage just one slightly early morning, you can get some amazing pictures while the rest of the world literally sleeps.

Another benefit of morning shoots? Every location is wide open. No worry about people watching or being in your background.

Last benefit of a morning senior session? Most of look our best right after we’ve gotten up and ready for the day. We tend to be less bloated and we look rested. The stress of the day hasn’t started to show yet. Oh and then you look amazing for the rest of the day and have had a hype girl (me!!) for a few hours.
