Good morning, so I wanted to share something. I want to inform people as much as possible of things about the flower industry in hopes it helps us both. We try hard as a small business to assist everybody and try to be as helpful as possible with that being said we had a customer yesterday that wanted Flowers sent to Knoxville.. so my daughter took the order and I began calling folks. My customer wanted something very simple. After calling several Florist, I was in shock most have a $75 minimum that they deliver with a $16.50 delivery fee whether it 2 miles or 10……WOW!  I specifically heard the lady ask the designer how much 4 roses and daisies were she said $40-45 but then when the lady came back to me she said we have a $75 minimum so we will put 3 stems of daisies and 4 roses and solidago in it for that!!!!!! 😳😳😡
I understand making a profit but oh my word! Some things have gotten outrageous for my cost and that is why I offer so many options. I have struggled with increasing prices on some things.
I love my flower shop in my small county. Now this is where I am so thankful to the Lord because I did not go into this business to become rich. I felt like this was going to be my little ministry.
So my word of advice is if you want to order flowers from another state or County, please call around and ask lots of questions .
1. I want to spend $
What can I get for this?
2. Delivery fee?
3. Include taxes in your overall price because those can creep up on you?
4. Is there an additional charge for a debit card?
5. WILL YOU SEND ME A PICTURE OF THE FINISHED PRODUCT( if possible)

I sure have enjoyed being able to do my random acts of kindness giveaway this week. I’ve enjoyed making people‘s day special. I hope somehow we have inspired someone to show kindness to others. Today’s random act of kindness goes to Mrs. Marla Hines. Not only did she give years of service as a wonderful teacher but she serves the county as our circuit court clerk. She has a demanding job but continues to love the county. We wanted her to know how much we appreciate and love her.

So our Thursday random act of kindness winner is WECO’s Justin Fritts aka Buddy.
Buddy goes above and beyond to help the youth at school and his church. He and his family put countless hours into decorating their yard for Christmas. The light show is amazing and has became a special part of our Christmas (still haven’t gotten my hot chocolate though)🤣
He has taken the time to support my daughter when she opened her business and he’s our favorite person to scare and terrify 🤣🤣🤣We love and appreciate you so much Buddy.

So today’s random act of kindness because she was at work today lol goes to Wendy Vespie. Miss Wendy has taken care of so many people in this county. She’s such a blessing. Never fails to greet you with a smile. We love her dearly and appreciate all she does for us. Congratulations.
