We have the next few weeks off from weddings, so if you're needing some planning time and limited to the weekends, now is a great time to come! As always the weekdays are always available.

We booked 4 2026 weddings this week! If you are interested in 2026, come see me! We still have dates available but April, May, September & October are booked, and there is only one date left in January, March, June & November!

History meets Farm Venue

Welcome to The Powell Home and Barn page! We sure hope you enjoy looking at this collection of pictures from some very talented photographers. It has been a blessing meeting these wonderful families and we are looking forward to meeting and helping other brides have a most memorable day here at Comeback Farms. During the other days of the week we are busy looking after cattle, bailing hay or straw, or hauling hay to our wonderful customers. But most of all James Lucas favorite thing to do is share this beautiful farm with others who appreciate the quite comforts of dirt road country living. Sharing it with folks who appreciate seeing a covey of quail crossing the dirt path, or watching turkeys and deer mosey around, and don't mind taking a gator ride down a wooded path. The Powell home was moved here in the 70’s, but was originally constructed in 1855. Lots of things have changed since then

, but the atmosphere and the barn are as if time has stood still down here on Drew Road. Seeing and experiencing the farm first hand is the best way to fall in love with this venue but also the way of life. The Powell home is still open to making new memories and we would just love for you to come by and sit a spell while your making decisions on your most important day!
