Basil and strawberries combined with vodka and lemonade make this a savory summer time pick. On a day like this โ˜€๏ธ, you may even want to jump in this drink ๐Ÿฅ‚.

Ingredients to create 4 servings:

- add equal parts water and sugar to a pot and boil until sugar is dissolved. Let cool

- add 6 ounces of simple syrup, lemon zest ๐Ÿ‹ of 1 lemon, 8 ๐Ÿ“ strawberries (tops removed), and 2 medium sized basil ๐ŸŒฟ leaves to a blender and blend

- add 6 ounces of vodka to the blended mix, shake and strain over ice ๐Ÿน
