I have battled these lily pads for years, this year I have decided they are also flowers, they can stay. They are not easy to pick yet beautiful to look at and listen to the sounds of nature / frogs, birds and even the fish jumping to catch low flying insects.

Yes, it is hot. We have adjusted our hours: Saturday - 9 am to noon and 5 pm to 7pm. This year we are also offering an activity by reservation, best for 2 to 6 people. Pick and Paint.

Pick your own vase of wildflowers. We will be providing a 8" x 10" canvas board, paint and brushes to paint your masterpiece.

This event is perfect for those who appreciate art, nature and enjoy immersing themselves in new experiences. Whether you're a advanced artist or beginner just looking to try something different, come join us for an morning or evening of painting. This activiety lasts about 2 hours. Our first spring flower - hoping for a better growing season than last year.

Flower update - very few. It has been a continuous draught this summer. I have never seen it this bad. The springs that feed our pond dried out at the end of June. We desperately need rain.
