Glyda Jaeger is SECOND TO NO ONE when it comes to statistics, perhaps one day local organizations will recognize her over three decades of dedication to CMS as statistician (40 years total), registrar, and official. A few weeks ago, she asked me what I thought about sharing her stats over the years that she has kept as we wind things down under the Earl and Susan era at CMS. I couldn't be more proud to share her work. What I've done here is combine her "weekly" race wins with her "special event guest class wins" to come up with an overall all-time winner's list. It was a trip down memory lane in looking at all the winner's at CMS, 468 to the best of my counting ability since Earl and Susan took over in 1994. Here are the top 30 (ish). As a PR guy, Glyda's stats, standings, and record keeping have helped me tenfold in bringing media relations to the CMS faithful for over 20 years, thank you Glyda!

Congrats to John Brooks on being the all-time winningest driver at CMS over the years, Schultz gave him a run for the money for sure!

We look forward to seeing you tonight, Saturday, August 23rd for Race #17 - W-K Chevrolet Race Night featuring Weekly Racing in all Divisions Plus 305 Sprints!

The track looks great and we are finally experiencing some cooler temps, after highs in the mid-80s predicted for today it should be a nice comfortable evening for racing with Super Stocks, B-Mods, Pure Stocks, Midwest Mods, and guest class 305 Sprints.

Time is winding down to see CMS as we know it today as the Walls family are wrapping up an unprecedented 31 years promoting the speedway, if you are a driver or fan who always wanted to give CMS a go, time is running out as there are just a few weeks left.

Pits Open at 4:30, Grandstands at 5, Driver Pill Draw Close 6:15, Pit Meeting 6:30, Hot Laps 7, Racing at 7:30.

Admission Information: $15 Adult Gen Adm - Seniors 65 to 74 $12, $6 Kids Ages 6 to 12 - Kids 5 and Under Free. FREE: Seniors 75 and Up - Confined to Wheelchair. All Pit Passes are $35 regardless of age.

Timeline: Pit gates open at 4:30, Grandstands at 5, Driver Pill Draw Cutoff 6:15 (No passing points awarded if late), Pit Meeting 6:30, Hot Laps at 7, racing to follow at approximately 7:30.

Visiting drivers are reminded to not park in reserved stall areas, which are indicated by a post and plate in the ground, or by a plate mounted on the chain link fence in the pit area.

Race #16 - $3500-to-win B-Mods, plus Weekly Racing and 305 Sprints!

Joining the B-Mods are the Super Stocks, Midwest Mods, Pure Stocks, and guest class 305 Sprints, competing for their normal purse money and applicable points. B-Mods will not compete for track points; all CMS weekly classes will compete for track points. Classes will compete for applicable sanction points.

This race is open to all B-Mod drivers per the technical inspection rules, located at www.centralmissourispeedway.net, under the Rules/Forms link.

B-Mod drivers have an entry fee as follows: if the driver has raced twice at Central Missouri Speedway PRIOR to this race, the entry fee including pit pass is $75. For drivers who have not raced twice prior to this race, the entry fee is $90. The entry fee includes the pit pass and entry fee for the B-Mod driver.

The B-Mod payout for this race is as follows: 1) $3500, 2) $2000, 3) $1500, 4) $1000, 5) $800, 6) $600, 7) $500, 8) $450, 9) $400, 10) $350, 11) $300, 12) $250, 13th to 24th $200. The race distance is 35 laps.

We wanted to take a moment to thank all the drivers, fans, parents, and staff members for their generous Kid's Night donations. From the foot races to the goodie-stuffed back packs, bike give-a-ways, the treats from Earl and Susan and the all-around fun night for our next generation of racers and fans, it was a fantastic night for everyone involved! Thank you, Ashley Walls, for once again making it a great night!
