Event styling for the moments you’ll always remember ✨

We know Skeeter isn’t for everyone.
But we also know there is someone out there for him. Someone patient. Someone understanding. Someone willing to give him the consistency and time he needs to fully trust. 🥺

Skeeter is just a little guy — about 40 pounds and around 2 years old — and honestly, he is doing SO much better this time around.

When he first came to us, he was a scared little stray who wanted absolutely nothing to do with people. He spent days quietly watching the world from a distance, unsure, overwhelmed, and trying to protect himself the only way he knew how.

Now?
The volunteers are all able to let him out. 🖤

Yes, he’s still a leash biter sometimes 😅 but this time around he’s leaving our hands alone, he’s learning, he’s listening, and he’s trying so hard. Day by day, we’re seeing more tail wags, more trust, and more of the sweet little dog hiding underneath all that uncertainty.

And once Skeeter lets you in?
He is incredibly sweet and lovable.

He greets us at his kennel, waits patiently for his turn, keeps his kennel clean, and just sits there day after day hoping someone finally sees past his rough edges and gives him the second chance he deserves.

Skeeter doesn’t need perfection.
He doesn’t need someone to “fix” him.

He just needs:
✨ consistency
✨ patience
✨ structure
✨ and someone willing to give him time to feel safe

We believe in this little guy so much. Now we just need someone else to believe in him too. 🐾
