Good evening. Just wanted to touch base with y'all. I'm sorry it's taking so long to reopen.
We are looking for a part-time sound person who knows how to set up sound equipment & karaoke equipment as well as having experience & knowledge of such equipment & having an ear for sound.
This position will start as a volunteer position. When we get gigs, you will get paid per gig. We will discuss pay during the interview.
Your position includes, but is not limited to, helping unload equipment, helping set up & tear down equipment in a professional manner, & helping run the soundboard & equipment during the gigs.
During the interview, we will discuss dress code, tardiness,
professionalism, 48-hour notice of absence unless of an emergency, hygiene, representation of our business, and other things that represent our brand.
I am very strict on tartiness. Tartiness throws off the whole gig. Being on time is part of professionalism.
I completely understand emergencies & things beyond our control. Being late is not fair to the paying client.
As a former manager of restaurants, I forgave 1 tardy. The second tardy was a cut in hours or asked to go home that day without pay. A third tardy was a termination of employment.
I'm a very professional person & I understand life. Things happen. The point I'm making is that professionalism is not only being on time but being at least 1 hour or 2 hours early to allow time to set up & make sure the equipment is ready to go at the start of the event.
We don't allow any vulgar language whatsoever, period! We are to represent ourselves in a professional manner. We do not allow any drugs or alcohol whatsoever, period!
What you do on your time is your business but know this, you are a representative of our brand so what you do on your time is your business but anything you do on your time, if it reflects on our business in a hurtful or poor manner, your job will be possibly terminated based on a meeting with ownership.
So people may think this is hard but representing our business is the number one thing we keep in mind. We are to protect the business & those representing our business.
Remember, the goal is not only professionalism but reviews, customer satisfaction & word of mouth.
Nobody will hire any business where the owner & or employees are not acting professionally at all times. That's before we start, during the event & after the event.
Thank you for your time & anyone who thinks they can handle these employment-ready for success, helpful professional development, & have experience, please message me through Messenger, my personal email [email protected] or my personal cell phone at 586-216-3972.
Don't waste mine or your time. I'm looking for a serious, hard-working professional.
Thank you for your time & remember this, success starts with professionalism, determination, & hard work.
