❤️ HEART HEALTH CAN’T WAIT — GET SCREENED! ❤️
Heart disease doesn’t only affect older adults. We are seeing young people and athletes experience serious and sometimes unexpected heart-related problems, which is why awareness and early screening are so important.
In recognition of World Heart Day 2026, we’re encouraging our community to take advantage of an AngioScreen vascular screening. This quick, non-invasive ultrasound provides a look at your vascular health and may help identify concerns that should be discussed with your healthcare provider.
🇺🇸 MILITARY VETERANS: FREE
❤️ EVERYONE ELSE: ONLY $50 — thanks to our sponsors!
💰 The screening would normally cost approximately $2,500.
This opportunity is especially important for the Black community. Black Americans experience disproportionately high rates of cardiovascular disease and related risk factors, including high blood pressure and stroke. Knowing your numbers, understanding your risk factors, and getting appropriate medical care can make a difference.
And parents, coaches, and athletes — please don’t assume that being young, active, or physically fit means heart problems can’t happen. Screening is not a guarantee that every heart condition will be detected, but learning more about your cardiovascular health could lead to important follow-up care.
