Just a reminder Tavern Friends we will not be open tonight or Friday

This Saturday (5.17) will be the last day we will be open to the public at Dogwood Hills. We do have a couple of private events in the next few weeks that will be happening. We will serving complimentary hors d'oeuvres only (no menu items) and a full bar. Please come by as we say goodbye to Dogwood Hills. Since there is a golf tournament honoring the Debi Price foundation that day, we will be donating a portion of the proceeds to her foundation.

Not what you might expect at a small town golf club right off I-95, but...

1. The food was absolutely fantastic. The She-Crab soup might have been the best I've ever had; certainly none better. The Mushroom Ravioli was spectacular and the Chicken Carbonara Pasta was also very, very good. I am must partial to the Ravioli sauce with mushrooms and Marsala.

2. The service was attentive even given it might have been our server's first week ever working in a restaurant. She looked very young and all of us that ever worked in a restaurant had to be a 'rookie' and learn the craft initially. She was very nice, just fine, and will be a Pro in a few weeks.

3. The management was incredibly attentive and pleasant - very visible and paying attention to details.

4. We couldn't possibly have eaten dessert but the Bread Pudding looked amazing and the Crème Brûlée was supposed to be excellent.

The are only open Thursday-Saturday - if you are passing through as we were, definitely go. On future travel we will plan our overnight stop to eat there again!!!!

Amazing food very sweet staff
Amazing food. Lovely bar. Sweet staff. Jordi and Kinsley were both incredibly sweet and attended to all our needs. The prime rib was perfectly cooked. The Creme Brulee was amazing. The owner checked on our table himself. We will be back!

Dear Tavern friends,
In the next couple of weeks we will be winding down the restaurant operations to concentrate on our catering business.
We will be honoring all banquet bookings that are already contracted
It has been a great privilege to serve this Walterboro community and we greatly appreciate everybody that has supported us.

Dear Tavern friends just a reminder...we are closed tonight for the Rice Festival and may I add, so many of you have praised what we are doing to us personally which means so much! Please put those words in Google or Trip advisor
