The Big Need: We are four months behind on rent (over $30,000) and need help catching up before 12/31. Your support would help our family bridge this season!

For years, our family has poured our hearts into building CREAM — starting the very first franchised location and opening stores in Walnut Creek, Concord, and Livermore, all with one goal: to serve our community and bring joy and smiles to both young and old.
Today, we are facing our hardest chapter yet. This month we are closing our final brick-and-mortar location in Concord. Rising costs, increasing rent and declining sales since COVID have made it impossible to sustain retail operations, and we are now pivoting fully to catering.

We are launching this GoFundMe because we are currently four months behind on rent ($30k +) and do not have a viable way to catch up through our present sales. Any support you might offer would mean the world to us. It would help our family-run business take its next step and continue serving the community we love while being able to earn a livelihood as a family.

We’ve loved serving up ice cream cookie sandwich goodness the last 10 years in downtown Concord, but all good things must come to an end, and we will not be renewing our lease when it ends this year.

What does this mean for CREAM Concord?

Once we close the store, we’ll be operating out of a local commercial kitchen to continue catering for all sorts of events, and to fulfill orders for our wholesale customers!

Please come by and support us these next few months. We’d greatly appreciate it as we transition into a new business model.

We’re going out with a bang here at CREAM Walnut Creek. It’s National ice cream day AND our last day serving at 1372 North Main Street.
