I would like to invite all VFW members to the meeting tonight. Six members from the state will be attending the meeting for a meet and greet and are looking for our support for the upcoming state elections.

Robert “Bob” J. Girard, 67, of Wallingford, husband of Renae (Rossignol) Girard, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2025 at his home.

Robert was born in Meriden on December 18, 1957, a son of the late Anthony and Blanche (Racine) Girard.

Robert worked as a technician for AT&T. He enjoyed listening to music, playing pool and spending time with friends and family.

In addition to his wife Renae, he is survived by his sons, Robert J. Girard II and Michael Girard; his daughter, Stephanie Girard; his grandchildren, Gabriel and Catherine Girard; his brother Daniel Girard and his nieces Amy Perry and Kelly Girard.

All services are private and are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext.
