I always hope for a wedding to have a good backstory. And Courtney and Kyle have a fun story to how they first got together. Kyle's emotions and Courtney's comforting nature were so enjoyable to film. I love when the emotion of the day is so apparent and visible. It made my job a lot easier when I heard the heartfelt vows that Courtney and Kyle wrote for each other.

Courtney and Kyle, may God bless your marriage, and may you always be as kind and loving to each other as you were on your wedding day. God bless!

The one, the only...Brookles!!! Goodness, I loved teaching this girl! It's always so hard to trust a beloved student to a boy. But everything I saw from Thomas on their wedding day, made me feel so much better that she is in good hands.

I have the best friends! I'm so thankful that I have friends that will willingly spend an entire Saturday filming weddings with me. It is such a great way to catch up with them and have a little fun, while celebrating the awesome couples we get to film!

Laurel Despain kept me on my toes all day, that if for sure! We had a lot of laughs and filmed two fabulous young people ( Lauren Bertrand ) beginning their marriage. We also met another amazing photographer. Madi Kay Photography It was a day of learning, laughing, and celebrating!

Also, a massive shout out to Laura Boroughs Haffner who bailed me out with a camera battery. I was in Hays when I realized part of my batteries were still at home on the charger. She met Laurel in the Dillons parking lot and Laurel felt like she was doing a drug deal🤣

Intentional. Every single part of this wedding day was just that. Leigh Ann Pfannenstiel and Abraham were intentional from start to finish and it was beautiful to be a part of it. I also got to include Amberly Hennick for once. She is always so much fun to shoot with, and this time she was related to the bride! Also, thanks to Crystal Brown for putting up with my scatter-brained ways and helping me out that windy, windy day.

We had the chance to film a wedding yesterday in Oakley. It was an intentional day from start to finish. My friend Crystal was kind enough to be my enthusiastic second shooter. My back was hurting from stuff the precious day and it really began hurting during the ceremony. She sent me this photo today....ok, I really don't do my back any favors at times. I don't realize the positions I put my body in while holding a 10-12 lb. camera rig for a 10+ hour day. No wonder ibuprofen is on the regimen to get a good night's sleep the night after filming. Blessed to do what I love though! I have wonderful clients and wonderful friends/coworkers on these long days.

The past few months haven't been ideal as I've dealt with a shoulder injury/surgery. I'm so thankful for patient and understanding brides like Kylee that give me the time I need to heal. I usually have this video finished a week or two after the wedding. It took me well over a month to get this one finished.

Kylee and Drew and their families were incredibly welcoming and it made for a fun, although slightly chilly, fall wedding. They didn't seemed phased a bit. Kylee's dad was such a loving father and it was beautiful to see his reaction. I wish them the best with their handsome young boys and pray God gives them many more years of laughter and love.

Have you ever seen a bride intentionally dive down on the grass in her wedding dress?

I hadn't until this last weekend, and Kayla did it with way more grace than I could have ever pulled off! Jordan was the perfect compliment to Kayla's fun-loving energy as he kept her laughing with his quiet humor. Check out this video for Young Red Angus. I have to say, working on a ranch and learning about how others run their operation is right up my alley. I felt right at home filming at the sale and visiting the ranch. So much fun! Jay and his family have tremendous operation, and listening to his knowledge of soil, cattle, and the use of cover crops was fascinating.
