Thank you to all the couples who have trusted me with your love story. It has been a great honor knowing I’ve presided over 20+ weddings. Some of my clients have gone on to have children and it’s so sweet to think I was the one who married them.

Truthfully, being a wedding officiant takes an incredible amount of energy, at least for me. I really do put my heart and soul into these ceremonies and it’s time I put my time and energy on to new things.

If you are getting married, please book your officiant quickly! For some reason we’re one of the last vendors to get booked but the entire event revolves around our service…and you don’t want to ask someone to officiate just w***y nilly because you’re desperate.

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to work with me?

for someone who’s never been married before, or given it much thought, you might just think I type up some stuff and show up on wedding day but there’s a lot more I do.

So here’s the workflow! (One of my favorite words in the English language!)

I’m always scared in my client interactions for meaning. Always looking for ways to build connections, whether with my clients, other vendors or the parents of the couple, whoever. And I always look for ways to reduce worry for the couple, answer questions before they are asked and managing expectations. Sometimes it’s just a call to touch base if they’ve booked me really far in advance.

My “Client Journey” spreadsheet is a living document. If a surprise came up at a wedding I’ll make adjustments so the next wedding is smoother.

The discovery call is where you and I get to officially meet for the first time. I always try to schedule it so I can meet both of you but I am glad to be flexible.

I love that first meeting with new clients! My goal is always to get to know them and get a sense of what they find important.

There's no point in trying to sell myself because in this line of work it's less about my credentials and more about how they *feel* in my presence.

No need to worry about getting another wedding on the books. I believe that if we're meant to work together, we will.

I bring a notebook and jot down anything that might be meaningful. Besides that, it's just meeting new friends.

I love it when we hit it off exceptionally well and a 15 minute consult turns into a friendship.
