This was one of the best experiences during my travels in Japan. Visiting the small city of Hakodate (函館市) and riding the Ropeway up the side of the mountain.

Experience the magical skyline of Hakodate (函館市) from the Mount Hakodate ropeway during Christmas! This 2-minute video captures the amazing views of the city as you ascend the mountain, accompanied by festive Christmas music from the ropeway’s sound system.
