I love this verse! Jesus, the King of glory, calls us darling! What a better way to wake up than to be called darling 💕💖💕 I know I've been posting a lot of rustic, neutral, manly signs, but I also enjoy making and have been adding a lot of this kind of cute and girlie signs to my shop. We had so much fun at the Sebts craft and bake sale. The fair started at 9:00am and we were just finishing setting up when the sweetest lady came to our booth and bought three of our signs! I used to try my hardest to please God and constantly failed. I became so frustrated with myself that I walked away from God. I gave up, it seemed too hard, I thought I wasn't cut out to be a Christian. But I am so thankful for the Holy Spirit and his patience towards me. He made me realize that I was trying to please God on my own, no wonder I failed over and over again! I now understand that I have to depend on Him to live a godly life, He is the one who gives me the power to do what pleases Him (Phil. 2:13). So nothing is impossible when we rely on God and let His Spirit do with us what He wants. Can't stand someone? Have difficulty loving someone? Abide in God, feed on his love, and His love in you will flow over to other people, his love in you will enable you to love like He loves - unconditionally💕 We can do all things, everything He's called us to do, THROUGH Christ.

A wise person is hungry for knowledge, while the fool feeds on trash. Proverbs 15:14
I read this verse a couple of weeks ago and the Lord has really been speaking to my heart since then. I've been convicted of how quickly and how often I reach for my phone. Earlier this week while waiting for over an hour at the store for my order to be ready I spent the majority of that time on my phone. The Lord reminded me of Proverbs 15:14, and I remembered that I have a small new testament, that's even smaller than my phone. And instead of reaching for my phone every time I get a chance I could carry this small New Testament in my purse and read a portion of scripture, even if it's just one verse. I know it's not a sin to be on our phones or social media, but for me I know that I have to be cautious on how I spend my time and remind myself to meditate on God's Word constantly. I struggle with anxiety, but when I fill my mind with Scripture I am filled with peace.

I love all things rustic, and the neutral colors usually found in farmhouse style, but I gotta admit pastel colors, especially pink, make my heart skip a beat❤❤❤ I am creating new signs and adding these adorable ribbons I recently found. So stay tuned!

Chosen and Transformed by Love

At a time in my life I felt so abandoned and unloved. Even in the midst of a relationship I felt so distant from my boyfriend. I was trying to fulfill areas of my heart he really couldn't fill. God showed me that His love is the only true substance that could fill me. He loved when I was unlovable and undesirable, and yet He continued to pursue and love me in spite of the fact of my heart's state.

I love creating new designs, new things that will transform a plain living space into the perfect design that will make it just right. God created a new spirit in me, made me a new creation fashioned after His own heart.

I create these designs for my own house, my friends and family. I saw that through my designs I could share and demonstrate the love the God had shown me. Even with the smallest design that I make is constant reminder that my identity is found in and through the love that God poured out in and on me.

I hope my signs become such powerful reminders as they are for myself.
