film makes you remember moments in ways digital images can’t

one thing I just LOVE about film is that it stops fleeting moments. whether it’s the quick hug your mom gives your grandpa, a glance to your maid of honor from across the dance floor, or a quick adjustment of your dress strap. these moments happen once and fast, yet they stand still for longer and allow you to appreciate the small moments. there only one photo of that moment. no duplicates, just a snapshot of how you felt in that moment.

when I think about abbott & matthews wedding day, these are the moments I think about. all of these images were taken on film, meaning these rushing memories are in their purest form.
