Hannah & Gunnar | September 18th 🤍

This one felt a little full circle.

Hannah sat in my chair for years, and somewhere between hair appointments and catching up on life, I heard about Gunnar and watched their relationship grow from the sidelines. So when she asked me to be a part of their wedding day, saying yes was pretty easy.

And somehow, September 18th showed up with the only sunshine we saw all week. After days of gray skies, the clouds cleared and gave them the most beautiful day. It really did feel like it was meant just for them. ☀️

There was something so surreal about going from hearing all the little updates over the years to standing there on their wedding day, watching the two of them actually become husband and wife.

Hannah & Gunnar, thank you for letting me have a small part in your story. Getting to watch one chapter unfold from my salon chair and then help you step into the next is something I’ll always be grateful for. 🤍

Lexi & Bryce | August 21st 🤍

Some wedding days are just plain fun, and this was one of them.

I came into Lexi & Bryce’s plans during the final weeks before their wedding, and it didn’t take long to see how excited they were to finally get to this day. Everything was already so thoughtfully planned, and my job was simply to help make sure they could enjoy every bit of it when August 21st finally came around.

And they did. 🤍

The whole day felt easy, happy, and full of people who were genuinely excited to see these two get married. From the quiet moments earlier in the day to everyone letting loose later that night, there was just a really good energy from beginning to end.

Audrey & Will | July 11th 🤍

Some couples just make your job easy, and Audrey & Will were absolutely one of them.

From the very beginning, they were both so kind, laid-back, and genuinely fun to work with. Their wedding day felt the exact same way. So much happiness, so much love, and a whole lot of fun packed into one day.

One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to know my couples beyond just timelines and wedding details, and these two were such a sweet reminder of that. Watching them finally get to enjoy the day we had spent so much time talking about and planning for was pretty special.

Madison & James | June 26 🤍

This one was a little extra special.

Getting to coordinate my own stepsister’s wedding and watch her marry James was something I’ll always be grateful I got to be a part of.

And this day was so Madison. Bright colors, beautiful florals, and little pops of personality everywhere you looked. It was colorful, happy, and full of life in the best way.

But more than anything, there was just so much love surrounding these two. Getting to stand back throughout the day and watch everything come together, while knowing I got to play a small part in making such an important day happen for her, made this wedding completely different for me.

It’s one thing to be trusted with someone’s wedding day. It’s another when it’s someone you love.

Brooklyn & Kyle | May 30th 🤍
Some wedding days just have a feeling to them, and Brooklyn & Kyle’s was one of those.

You could feel the love in every part of the day. From Brooklyn’s vintage dress, to the endless candlelight woven throughout both the ceremony and reception, the entire day had this dark, romantic, almost speakeasy feel that was so perfectly them.

I’ve known Brooklyn for years from having her in my chair, which made getting to be a part of this chapter of her life that much more special. There’s something really sweet about watching someone you’ve known through one season step into an entirely new one.

The whole day felt warm, intimate, romantic, and full of so much love. It was the kind of wedding where you couldn’t help but stop for a second, take it all in, and realize just how special it was to be there.
