Tiny House Fest 2020 Update:
These uncertain times are a good opportunity to pare down and assess what is most important to ourselves and our families. These times are not so ideal for planning large gatherings and events that rely on sponsorships from small businesses and nonprofits.

The Tiny House Fest Vermont organizers have made the difficult decision to cancel plans for the 2020 Tiny House Fest. We do not feel like we can effectively and safely offer the quality festival that you have come to expect given the current circunstances.

Join Lina Menard and Erin Maile O'Keefe for our online Tiny House Design Course at Yestermorrow Design/Build School. Yes, we're all online so much lately, and we have taken that into consideration in designing this course. By using the best of features of Zoom to cover course material and facilitating group discussions you can attend from the comforts of your home. Additionally, Lina will be offering individual "desk crits" to help your design along on a one-to-one basis. We're really excited about the push to this format since Lina and I live on opposite coasts. Plus, folks can join us from around the world! If you joined us last fall for the Fest, we hope you were lucky enough to hear Tolya Stonorov’s talk about the LIFT House, designed and built by Norwich University students to lift up and house a homeless community member who needs mental health supports. It has been sited in Barre, VT, and adits a neighboring build of a second LIFT house. This is a brilliant beneficial project supported by so many!
