The legendary contemporary Hawaiian musical group The Mākaha Sons officially marked their 50th anniversary on February 22, 2026, commemorating a golden milestone of preserving and sharing traditional Hawaiian mele and culture since 1976. This celebrated Hawaiian trio have earned over 20 acclaimed albums, numerous Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards, multiple Grammy nominations, and induction into the Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame. For 50 years, this group has been entertaining Hawaii and throughout the world. Their full and majestic sound mixed with their harmonies will take your breath away. Opening for this special evening is Waialua native, Lance Orillo. A Na Hoku Hanohano award nominee. Lance is recognized for his versatility in the genre of music he performs; from smooth jazz, Hawaiian, contemporary soft rock, and ballads. Lance will take you on an acoustic experience enriched by his smooth relaxing voice.
