Alterations by Carol is looking for a part-time assistant for 10–15 hours a week with flexible hours. This is an on site position in Lorena, Texas.
Do you have years of sewing experience? Fantastic!
Can you sew a button on without accidentally sewing yourself to the garment? I can work with that.
I’m looking for someone who is:
✂️ Willing to learn
🧵 Comfortable with—or willing to learn—basic sewing
👀 Detail-oriented
💪 Not afraid to work
🧠 Able to follow directions
😂 Can handle a little chaos when a wedding gown decides it has other plans
Bridal alterations experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
This is a part-time position bridal alterations studio, surrounded by pretty dresses, thread, lace, beads, and the occasional gown that needs to be put in time-out. 😏
10–15 hours a week. Flexible schedule. Lots to learn.

“I can sew on a button.”
