Playful & restoring

Highlight: we went on a 4 day spiritual retreat with our dearest friends and it mended the heart. Gave me strength for another 6 months. Friendship is restorative and needed. So thankful for this time in east Texas.

Rhodes Judah turned 1 🍰
We packed our old house in 12hrs and moved the next morning due to rain changing our move date.
February was a wild month!

January 2026

This month was full of rest. We have stayed at home most days. The kids have made it clear they just wanna snuggle in and be “together”

We have been fervently working on the new home and go by nearly every day.

Thankful for this sweet and quiet season

Our last Christmas in this beloved home of ours. Our sweet kids have all been brought home to this sweet house. It’s carried us through the last 5 years.

December was: simple, family, home, quiet, less.

WOW I have wanted to post these photos for literally wanted to share these photos for months! .photography for capturing us in our element. Literally the LARGEST gift!

Recently, my heart has just ached to be with my kids. Sometimes I’ll have a hard time falling asleep at night because I just lay there thinking about all the ways I wish I could squeeze out a couple more hours with them each day. Seriously though, I need to tap into this haha.

October 2025: we went to Branson, celebrated Everett’s birthday, celebrated my birthday, processed hard things, processed good things. A month full of emotions and love and family and new beginnings!

September 2025. We celebrated our 9th anniversary. Evie hopped into school with cohen. We painted. Saw grandparents. Visited my bestie in PHX. Swam a lot. Played in the yard. AND ate loads of sour candy. I think sour candy defined September for me.

It’s summer back in Waco. It’s looked like one-on-ones every week with each kids, days alone at home, endless time in the backyard, I’m sorry notes, seeking connect as a couple, pottery, paint, wearing coats when it’s 90 out, big laughs and a lot of time together as a family of 5.
