We began with a pavilion in the rainforest on top of the Volcano and a treehouse, offering intimate weddings drenched in romance. Then we formed an alliance with Daylight Mind on the oceanfront in Kona, to offer oceanfront wedding services at their venue. Daylight Mind has one of the most remarkable reception venues on the island, with prices that are very friendly. It is possible to also hold the

wedding ceremony at that site. Another possibility is an oceanfront lawn wedding at Hulihe'e Palace followed by the reception at Daylight Mind. This combination can work beautifully within a limited budget, with guests walking along Alii Drive between the Palace and the reception venue. We also offer beach ceremonies for both weddings and vow renewals. There are some locations we will suggest if you want to work with us. Pricing varies for all our services. We have a set package at the rainforest that includes a treehouse stay of 2 nights. Included is a custom ceremony, decor, special lighting, music, sounding of the triton shell, on site photography, cake, wedding toast, and two night treehouse stay for $2500. This is rare, but if you want to forgo the treehouse stay, price goes down to $2000. Some important things to remember when planning a Hawaii Island wedding:

Beach weddings are made complicated by the fact that it is not possible to have a seated wedding party at the beach, nor a canopy or arch, and most on the sand weddings require special permitting, even without seating or any decor whatsoever. There are some locations where an arch, chairs, and so on may be set up oceanside. Most of these locations are part of a resort, and there are limitations on the music. Resorts will offer you packages and they use their own wedding planners and vendors. If you are looking for something individualized and unique, as romantic and beautiful as anything you see in a magazine, we can do that. It is unnecessary to spend tens of thousands of dollars to achieve a dreamy wedding. If you tell us what you want and how much you want to spend, chances are very good we can put together your wedding within your budget.

Particularly closer to the volcano, where the caldera no longer has a constant plume rising into the atmosphere, bluer than blue skies with small white clouds show off the beauty of Hawaii.

We wish you all a happy and fulfilling 2018.

We began offering weddings in Hawaii at our rainforest venue, as seen on Rainforest Weddings. Over time we branched out to offer celebrations all over the island. In the process, we have made some discoveries.

One of our primary goals is to offer wedding celebrations that are highly personal, deeply romantic, at a price that does not break the bank.

For larger weddings, that is not as feasible as for the smaller ones. The reasons for cost have mainly to do with catering and venue. The price for a premium venue that can host a wedding larger than about 30 is always high.

As for the food, catering is an art and a calling. It takes a tremendous amount of work to do it well, for a large number of people. This means many helping hands, and a caterer dedicated only to you for not only the day of, but the lead up to your celebration.

We are committed to paying all who help us not only fairly but well. We expect their effort to be commensurate with what they are paid.

Finally, stepping in as a day of coordinator where the bride and groom and their ohana have put together their vision and now want someone else to make it all work is a task for those who put it all together to undertake. It is impossible to control for every variable, to understand all the details set out by others.

If you are looking for a magnificent wedding and want someone to design it start to finish, we can do that, large or small. But for the large, please be prepared with a budget that matches your vision. We understand what it takes to put on a great event, and our associates include the top notch event coordinators and chefs on this island.
