For Viroqua parents, today was the first day of school for their kiddos! Such an exciting (and sometimes a little stressful 😆) day for us! I hope all children, and parents have a wonderful day! My oldest two children are homeschooled, but my little man, Larry headed back to school this morning to start 3rd grade and was very excited. 🫶💕

I wanted to send out a HUGE thank you to absolutely EVERYONE! Whether you made it out to visit last weekend or not, we appreciate all of your love, support, patience and grace during this transition. We are doing our absolute best to add some great staff members to our team, find our flow, and get settled in to provide the best service for you.

We did our best this weekend, with the resources we currently had available and I truly appreciate how kind and understanding everyone was. That’s one thing I love about our community.. the love and support is real and genuine. Cheering others on to succeed can be a rarity in some communities, but the valley this weekend reminded me of Sunday Dinners at my Grandma Jacobson’s (Myrt). All are welcome, come as you are, fill the room with laughter and enjoy a meal with friends and family. And of course drink copious amounts of coffee 😆 (which we have now, by the way)😜

•Monday & Tuesday - closed
•Wednesday - 11am - 9pm
-This weeks lunch special: Scalloped potatoes and ham with candied 🥕 carrots OR 🍎 Orchard Harvest Salad with Zesty Apple Cider Vinaigrette
•Thursday - 11am - 9pm
- This weeks lunch special: Homemade Soup and Grilled Cheese Dippers 🧀 OR 🍎 Orchard Harvest Salad with Zesty Apple Cider Vinaigrette
•Friday & Saturday: 11am - close
- Kitchen closes at 9pm. Closing hours will be at discretion of bartender.
•Sunday: 11am-6pm (football games will alter changes)

Good morning, friends! ☀️ 🍻

This is Lenae 👋 the new owner for Norwegian Hollow Hideaway!

What an adventure it has been so far! My kiddos and I have been busy, working hard to get the Hollow back up and running and be ready to serve all of you again! This will be not only a business, but a place to call home for us. 💕

We have big plans for the Hollow. Our number one goal is to make our customers happy, serve delicious food, always cold drinks, and to make the hollow always feel welcome to all 🫶💕 We will listen to all ideas, suggestions, and thoughts as we navigate our new venture. Your opinions matter and we will definitely take them all to heart and consideration.

Our original plan was to open TODAY but as with all new ventures, there is bound to be a couple “hiccups” along the way. Norwegian Hollow Hideaway will be opening back up tomorrow (Friday) vs today. We are thankful for great friends with kind hearts that have been willing to share their skills where they are able to get us back up and running 🥰💕 we have one last “to do” today that we discovered yesterday- we will see you tomorrow. Opening at 11am-close! Don’t forget to cheer the Viroqua Football team on at 7pm tomorrow (my son is sooo excited to play!)- join us for homemade pizzas and burgers after 💕🫶

Weekend vibes ahead! 🎉 We're open at 11 daily, because hangovers don't take days off. $2 beers and seltzers, $3 mixed drinks, and 6-packs for $8 (to-go only, don't get too excited). Oh, and free pool and darts, because priorities. 🍻

Norwegian Hollow will open at 2 pm this afternoon - Friday July 24, 2026.
