As families gear up to send their children back to school, that preparation can look a little different for some, including those who have children on the autism spectrum. That’s why a local non-profit is stepping in to make sure all children are set up for success.

Moms Who Advocate is a non-profit organization, based in Norfolk, that offers resources to families with autistic children. On Aug. 16, they’re set to host their ‘Building Together’ Community Day from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 840 Church Street.
