Summer ART Camp is happening at Annie’s Workshop in July!

Hey Y’all! Here’s some info on Summer Art Camp at Annie’s Workshop.

Mornings will be guided projects. Afternoons will be more freestyle. (Must be self-motivated!)Every week will be different but some of the projects will be things the kids have asked for… paper squishies, slime, painting with paper pulp, making white clay, cardboard art & sculpture, nature printing.

I have to see the ages & abilities of each week so it’ll be a little fluid but that’s a basic idea.

Each week is independent of others so they can come for one or all!

Kids need to bring a lunch. I will provide water & afternoon snacks.

It's official - we are in the process of getting a new roof!
All thanks to the many supporters and Vinnie Ream Board members who helped fund this enormous job. We are so grateful for this community! 🙌🏻

As National Poetry Month comes to a close, we want to think David Jennings Art in Photography and Poetry for coming to share his poems and photos. It was a lovely presentation, enjoyed by all in attendance.

We also had some special guest performers during the intermission. Vinnie Ream board member, Jerome Campbell, put one of David’s poems to music. And Claire Brown, daughter of another board member, wrote and recited one of her own poems.

The Vinnie Ream Cultural Center is participating in the City Wide Garage Sale! Our board members are donating their stuff, and all the proceeds will go back to the Center! Come by to help out a good a cause!

A wonderful program of photography and poetry was presented at The Vinnie Ream Cultural Center Thursday evening. Physician David Jennings, D.O. from Broken Arrow (hometown Claremore), brought many of his fantastic photographs, along with his short poems that were written for those photos, to share with the audience. A short break featured Jerome Campbell setting one of those poems to original guitar music which was also very much enjoyed. Young Claire Brown also entertained the crowd with her original poems inspired by the night.
