Surrounded by family at Lambert's Cove Beach, Quinzy and Mikal exchanged heartfelt vows during an intimate ceremony overlooking the Vineyard Sound. Before the ceremony, they shared a First Look lit by golden autumn light. Then, after exchanging personal vows during their bespoke Love Story ceremony, Quinzy & Mikal concluded their ceremony by leaping into their married future together with a joyous Jump the Broom leap.

It's with great pleasure that we send our first 60-day reminder for 2026. This is when we let our couples know they are within 60 days of their wedding and they can now apply for their marriage license in Massachusetts. We are honored to be a part of so much love over the years and excited for the upcoming season✨

When Kristen first contacted My Vineyard Elopement, she already had a beautiful vision for her intimate ceremony—she just needed help bringing all the details together in a timely way for her Rustic Glam Vineyard wedding. Her best friend would write and officiate the ceremony, and she dreamed of weaving together the elegance of Edgartown with the wild beauty of the Aquinnah.

From the abundant florals at the historic Dr. Daniel Fisher House to a celebratory boat ride with friends aboard the Big Blue, the day unfolded across the island—featuring the charm of the Edgartown Lighthouse, a misty backdrop for photos with the Aquinnah Cliffs, and a joyful finale in Menemsha (complete with a friendly fisherman who happily a provided a prop for a few unforgettable shots).

International Women’s Day seems like an appropriate day to showcase the team of women behind My Vineyard Elopement. Our innovative team specializes in creating intimate weddings for you and your love OR for a larger gathering of family and friends.

Bex first became involved with wedding planning and officiating when several friends asked her to be their officiant fifteen years ago. She enjoyed helping her friends create their special memories so much that she found a way to make this joyful experience part of her daily life. She especially enjoys being a part of the joyous energy that is shared on each celebration day.

Laura joined My Vineyard Elopement in 2019 and has since grown into nearly every role within the company — from lead wedding planner to on-site coordinator. While others may gravitate toward the romance and aesthetic details of weddings, Laura finds equal joy in the invisible architecture that makes it all possible: timelines, budget spreadsheets, color-coded charts — the behind-the-scenes structure that allows our events to unfold seamlessly. Precision is her love language.

The newest team member is Sharisse. With years of experience in event planning and a lifetime of summers on Martha's Vineyard, Sharisse brings an intimate and personal knowledge of the island. There is no place she loves more, which is why she planned her own wedding at East Chop Lighthouse & every year she returns there with her family to photograph a new memory. 

Our team works behind the scenes to create seamless, meaningful celebrations for every couple we serve. My Vineyard Elopement was founded by Jackie Kane in 2013, and we’re honored to carry forward the beautiful foundation she created with the same standard of care required for such special occasions.
