I have married over 300 couples but have never been married myself.
I am not the best at social media posting but my own wedding this weekend was so magical that I feel inclined to share. Gary and I are overwhelmed and touched by the outpouring of love this weekend.
And although we love planning stress free elopements for our clients, our larger wedding of 68 guests was a blessing. Our weekend was truly magical with their presence and blessings on our home, land and marriage.
What a treat to have our individual lives, filled with so many loving friends and family, intersect at this place and time. They will forever be a part of our interwoven tapestry of love and support.
Larisa Stinga and Laura O! I am filled with so much love and gratitude for both of them in my life and their part in My Vineyard Elopement for so many years. I can’t even begin to imagine my wedding weekend without them here. They traveled from so far all the way to our new home in Santa Fe to be with us.
On top of that Larisa captured each and every moment with so much love, passion & joy. Laura helped keep me sane and organized. Ashley Stern stepped in as our weekend coordinator and now is family. Julie, my Scottish angel from Topanga canyon, was our glorious officiant. She nailed our love story filled with passion, humor & joy. My gf’s graced me with love & attention leading up to the big day. My dear and long time friend and brother, Zahn, walked me down the aisle. I have reread my beloved’s vows, filled with so much passion, soul and humor, over and over. There were tears of joy and laughter during our unique ceremony from Gary’s processional of Bonanza by Lorne Greene contrasted by my mine to Amy Helm’s “Someone Worth Loving” topped of by the talented Jesus Bas live during cocktail hour.
The celebration was as I always imagined on our land with the mountains
as a backdrop and the reception just beautiful in our country garden courtyard. Golden hour and sunset on our front porch and land was just spectacular. I will live off this memory forever as we create new ones daily.
Here is a sneak peak with more to come soon from Larisa.
Love always,
Jackie & Gary
