I LOVED every shoot from this weeked. Like loved, loved. Like super over the top, out of control, loved. First Baptist church was generous enough to let me set up shop at their tree lot, and it was amazing! Ava Kotter assisted me this weekend and was also responsible for the beautiful canvases that the families are holding in some of the images. She is talented and hard working, and I appreciated her help immensely! I had so much fun with these families; it's such a wonderful experience to see these kiddos grow and change with the years. And again, if you don't have a tree, please check out the beautiful selection of Frazer Firs at First Baptist church - they are such beautiful trees and all the proceeds go toward funding their missions. So, I hope these images get you in the holiday spirit - I know they certainly did for me - thank you to all my families who made this a phenomenal weekend for me! Oh yeah - and just a quick note about the snow photos - no, we didn't luck out and get snowed on, but I got creative and added some to a few of the images. :)

I could honestly chew on his cheeks all day. And the best part about that fact is that Bryson gives me a look that says he's known all along I'm a psychopath who has to grit her teeth to keep from biting cute kids. ;) Love this kid, Love this family, and absolutely can't wait to meet the newest addition!

When Katrina Lukens Wieneke contacted me with her ideas for this shoot, I was immediately giddy. We went to work trying to find a galvanized tub and Alma Sandefer Kramer came to our rescue with the perfect tub for this shoot. The beautiful sofa/seat thingy belongs to K's Mom, Kim Grostefon Lukens, and it was perfect as well. Every shoot I do with this fam tops the last one, and this was no exception. How can three siblings be SO beautiful and kind? Such an awesome family!

Well, I finally have some time to start posting my shoots again, and what better way to kick it off than with two of my favorite boys in the world! BJ and I took a trip out the ranch that Mason Taylor grew up on. It was an unbelievable experience - more beautiful than I could ever describe. And, it was such a treat to capture the boys in the environment that their dad loves so very much. It's obvious they're taking after him as well - they love it, too!

This is the start to this set of photos, and what better place to start off than Chicago!!! Tay is my little sis (actually sis-in-law), but I love her enough to claim her as my own. :) We had an amazing time on this adventure, and I can't wait to finish the set once it turns fall and cools down a bit! Thank you for being an amazing Aunt to my kiddos, Tayler Jean - I love you so stinkin' much! And, those eyelashes are real. Hmph.

My seniors have been phenomenal to work with so far this year, and Gabby is no exception - she even took quite the mud bath in one of our attempts at a great location. ;) She has a great serious face, but when she smiles, her entire face lights up - she is absolutely beautiful! Thanks for such an awesome session, Gabby and Peg Abrams Whitsett - loved the glitter and bubbles - even if the bubbles did stain everything within a five foot radius. ;)

Why this kid hasn't been snatched up as a print model, I have no clue - he is such a doll, and SO STINKIN' PHOTOGENIC. :) His little brothers (all three of them) are practically family to us, but I hadn't had a chance to really hang out with Parker until this shoot. Man, it must just be a family thing, because this kid was a joy to be with. Sooooo polite and considerate - I didn't want our shoot to end! I can't wait to see what he does in his future - I can tell you that whatever it is, it will be amazing. I just love this kid. :)
