Who's interested in a little taste of what a Wedding Retreat at the Steel Horse really is?

Instead of a traditional 'open house' for couples, we're thinking of hosting a mini Wedding Retreat this Fall. This will be a 2-day/1-night retreat (Friday, OCT 10 - Saturday, OCT 11) with limited spots!

🍕 Build-your-own pizza night in our beer garden
✨ Stargazing & chatting around the fire pit with other couples
☕ Coffee & pastries al fresco taking in the mountain views
🔥 A free hot springs pass to get a soak in before you head home
😊 AND a swag-bag with goodies and discounts from other wedding vendors (to hopefully make planning a bit easier)

Couples who purchase their spot will get their fee deducted if they book here for 2026!

Fun fact: I didn’t even have one! And yes, it’s a bit ironic that I own one; BUT that’s the point!

I have been so anti-wedding industry for so long that it’s driven me to create and build this special place that doesn’t do traditional weddings!

We do Wedding Retreats and ask ANYONE who’s either had one here, or attended one, why they are SO MUCH BETTER (on all levels) than blowing money on a few-hours-long traditional wedding. 🏔️👏🏼

Steel Horse Inn is a creek side Mountain Inn on 17.5 acres just 35 minutes south of Salida, CO. With our 6 Guest Rooms, 6 RV Sites, Guest Kitchen, and large Rustic Barn, you’ll find our Inn the perfect spot for Weddings, Special Events, or just a mountain getaway.
